Wild Apple's Elstar is over 1/2 Bolivian and 1/4 Chilean. This young male promises to have wool coverage just like his father on a large frame like his mom's.His fiber won a first place this year under an alpaca breeder who judged llama fiber at the Western Montana Fair. And his frame is incredibly substantial. Add to that his very gentle nature and you have a wonderful male for show, breeding, pet or fiber. FLASH: Elstar is qualified for both Western & Rocky Mountain Regionals.

Here he is--big, bold & silky! Macintosh just keeps getting better as he gets older. At 16 months old, he is large with heavy bone, and fiber that has luster to burn. He has placed well at the shows, and keeps improving as we continue to show him. His fiber has won a fantastic 4th place (out of 22) at the Grand Mesa Classic Llama show in the under 24 mo. walking fiber competition under reknowned fiber judge Sharon Beacham. He is easy to handle, standing well for grooming and toenails. His mother comes from a fabulous line of females (we own his mom and grandmom) who are caring mothers, easy birthers and good milkers. And his sire is our outstanding Mojo--a big, beautiful gentleman. This boy has wonderful genetics to pass--don't pass him by!

UPDATE: Kaliope had a very tiny cria in 2006 who is a mere 64 lbs at 8 mos old. Kaliope is a very light milker, which contributed to this little guy's tiny size, but it appears that she passes on the genetics for minis. Kaliope is a very correct, heavily wooled lady with a beautiful face. She has good bone and fabulous ears. Her only flaw is that she just didn't grow into the tall llama that we had hoped she would. She stands 37 5/8" at the withers, qualifying her as a true "mini" llama. Her lineage reads like a "Who's Who" in the llama world, featuring Macho Camacho, Conception, Senior Wenses, and Pocket Full of Miracles. She would be a wonderful asset to someone interested in breeding small llamas. $1000
